Stephen Reich is a solo practitioner with over 15 years experience in representing clients across the United States and abroad in a variety of legal matters including business litigation and disputes, trademark and copyright registration and docket management, intellectual property litigation, civil litigation, arbitration, mediation and more. Stephen is licensed in NY and MA and has litigated complex matters in both jurisdictions—in state and federal court—as well as other jurisdictions as “pro hac vice.” In addition, Stephen has participated in multiple mediations to help his clients resolve issues more efficiently and cost effectively.
Stephen’s cases generally involve disputes or issues relating to breach of contract, trademark or copyright infringement, tortious interference with contractual relations, enforcement of non-competition agreements, misappropriation of trade secrets, defamation and unfair competition. His clients range from solopreneurs in the health and wellness and education fields, to artists, software and AI engineers, startups, restaurateurs, event planners, entertainment space owners and more.
A significant portion of Stephen’s practice is devoted to representing clients in navigating trademark registration, maintenance, protection, enforcement and counseling, which he approaches holistically, educating and empowering the client along the way.
Stephen is a member of the New York City and Boston Bar Associations, is active in the Boston Bar Intellectual Property Committee, and serves on the board of the Massachusetts-based Arts Learning Organization as legal advisor in its mission to preserve and foster arts education.
Stephen is also a professional actor and member of SAG-AFTRA.
