James Ivker

James Ivker is a member of Einbinder, Dunn, Dimitri & Bayer’s litigation group, where he represents clients in a broad range of complex commercial, corporate, and franchise disputes. His practice spans federal and state courts nationwide, as well as alternative dispute resolution forums. James is appreciated for his thoughtful, strategic approach to litigation and his steady handling of complex, high-stakes disputes.

Before joining the firm, James was an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, where he represented clients in complex, high-stakes disputes, investigations, and regulatory matters, as well as select transactional matters. His experience includes managing complex discovery, briefing dispositive motions, and preparing cases for trial, providing him with a solid foundation across all phases of the litigation process and a strong understanding of transactional matters.

James earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a Mary Daly Scholar and served on the Fordham Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Duke University.
